Questions & answers
Billing and plan questions before you start. How-to lives in Docs after sign-in.
How is Pro pricing calculated?
What is a display unit?
A display unit is one billable screen slot you can connect and publish to. Free includes one unit. Pro lets you choose how many units you need.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Both include the same Studio, schedules, and library loop. Free is one display unit with the Free watermark. Pro removes the watermark and lets you expand units. See the comparison table on this page.
Can I buy Business self-serve?
Not yet. The Business card is shown for planning only and is not for sale. Use Contact if you need a business conversation.
Is billing monthly or yearly?
Self-serve Pro is monthly today. Annual options are not offered on the public Pricing path yet.
What happens if I add or remove units mid-cycle?
Adding units updates your paid capacity in Account billing; charges follow the live catalog and proration rules for expands. Reducing units does not promise a mid-cycle cash refund for unused days -- access usually continues through the period already paid. See Refund Policy for details.
How do cancel and refunds work?
Cancel-at-period-end is the default self-serve path in Account billing (and Paddle Customer Portal where available). We do not promise a pro-rata cash refund for unused days inside the current period unless Paddle or mandatory law requires it. Full terms are on the Refund Policy page.
Who charges my card, and are taxes included?
Paid Pro checkout is processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Invoices, receipts, and tax lines come from Paddle. Prices on this page are list amounts; applicable taxes are calculated at checkout from your billing address.
